Yeah, an operation in Islamabad was executed and Osama was shot, his body is in the possession of the US and DNA results confirm that it was indeed Osama.

Ditto! I've have to have witnessed such a blatant excercie in manipulating the US citizenry and maybe the world for that matter. Hail the US war machine as there is lots of money to be made and there will be something coming down the pipe to justify this momentum.

Just seen the news myself, problem is its far to late to matter, Al Queda has been spread around the world for nearly 10 years with an adaptive command structure that makes it incredibily hard to hit on a large scale.

Now i wonder when they are going to do a hit on Slobodan Bin Gaddaffi ?

Yup, almost 10 years since 9/11, 8 years to the day after Bush stood in front of the "Mission Accomplished" banner. It took too long but it's sweet all the same, glad it was US special forces that killed him (rumor is it was a Navy SEAL), and even happier that no US soldiers were injured in the fire fight.

We can only hope that the US has learnt its lesson at last and stops getting into bed with terrorists like Bin Laden who then turn on them and cause the rest of the world problems. I long ago remember a Japanese Diplomat that described US diplomacy as a 12 year old with a shotgun, I can only hope that they have upgraded the level of diplomacy to at least that of the Wild West so they get rid of their enemies the first time, not inflict them on the rest of the world for over 10 years.
