Augment Reality Glass

I wish somebody mass produced it and sell it for 200 USD. I'll buy one. I want to experimenting with the image analysis. If the camera used a high end 1 milion FPS I bet I could catch a bullet with my current knowledge.

You should upgrade your computer instead, there are lots of new motherboards and processors on the market.  :lol
I have been puzzling with lego bricks all my life. I know how to do this. When Peter, at age 6 is competing with me, I find it extremely neccessary to show him that I can puzzle bricks better than him, because he is so damn talented that all that is called rational has gone haywire.

The Vusix devices are not cracked up to what they advertise.
I bought one about 2 years ago, and it didn't work, optics were poor.
I pulled it apart and found the problem... they were using earth magnetic field sensors to determine orientation.
Miniature G- sensors and gyros would do a better job as the earths magnetic field varies.
If they've changed their sensor design, it might have improved... but I felt that I was dealing with amateurs.

I like the galsses idea though

no matter what they do, prolonged use is likely to drive you batty   :P
this is especially true if the viewing plane is near the eye(s)
if you keep the viewing plane, say, 6" or more away from the face, it isn't so bad

i can see where it might be useful for astronuts...

the visor is far enough away to not drive you crazy

maybe they could develop something like that for consumer use
but, it won't be cheap, and there has to be a way to get a beer in there...
....better come with a bottle opener, too   :bg
