Radio studio: The bands name is ACDC.. for the main prize, can you spell 'ACDC'
Contestant: errrr ADCC
Radio: Come on 'nnnn' it's ACDC, you just have to spell it
Contestant: OK.. A...D....C
Radio: Nooooo It's so easy.. just spell it.
Contestant: I know it.. DC..A....

Actually .. those were the days...
Surfing in the Transkei/Wild Coast, no shark nets, free as 'shark bait', and pop out the water and walk up to the bush cottage, about 20 or so boys and girls, and they're passing the thing around... blisss..  :thumbu

i am a little disappointed in that i was unable to contact the author
i would like to update the database, as it is missing several functions
i get a choice - either tear into his software, or write my own - lol
i may just do that, however, i have no way of testing or providing examples for vista or x64 or w7
what we need, is an app that can easily be updated
then, different forum members may add to a common database
if i get time, this sounds like a good app to write - we'll see how it goes

EDIT
i see now why it is difficult to contact the author - they gave up on this thing in 2002 - lol
but, by reading the newsgroup posts, i found many interesting plug-ins and sites
i need to spend more time looking into them
even so, it is good to have a reference that applies to win9x - i wondered where to find that info
if i want to write an app that would run under the old os's, i have some idea how
