absolute newbie

 :U  have never used assembler before and have no idea how or where to start. I have a version of masm32 and the IDE that comes with it. Other than that I have nothing. Does any one know whereI can find a good tutorial from the ground up?
and just a FYI I want to learn assembler because it was recomended to me by a programmer while I was on a job shadow. He said he thought I could handle it but im beginning to get discouraged.

I didn't do a whole lot using HLA, but the basic material presented in this book is essential.

Also check out the /help and /tutorials folders. The Iczelion tutorials are probably the best place to start learning MASM assembler.

Please read around the forum.  And learn to use the Search button, it will save you a bunch of time getting up to speed.

If you run into a wall, ask away, we have been there, done that, so you don't have too.
