Dang,

That's just as handy as the Unofficial Windows 98SE Service Pack.

Hi,
As for windows 98, anyone still using win98 are the ones that decided early to not get into the circle of buying the latest and greatest, they stayed with what worked for them and their bugets. I like that someone continued to think of them, unlike mocrosoft themselves. I still have an old p2 system with windows 98 on it and it still works great for what I use it for! It may be showing its age and with this "Revolutions Pack" it makes it a little less so. It is still as quick. Most software that supports win32 still runs on win98 and it is a great platform for testing backward compability... I find more reasons to kep it arround than to retire it.

If I had more programming experience I would have offered as I would not like it to just die... I know a lot of older people who still use it to swap email over dial up. I get asked to go look at their systems when something goes wrong, besides they are some great people!

I hope he finds a way to keep it going...
:U

chips42,
Just make sure, if your friends buy a new computer, that it does not have the NVIDIA Chipset and they will probably have no problems.  That is the reason he is giviing up, he can't get the DOCS for that chipset.  I feel bad for him but that is reality, money, money, money.

EDIT:  Sam Arthur ALLEN:  Commodore 64 vs. AMD 64, that is hilarious!!!!
