This is one of my revived older HLA projects, I recently overhauled the system and made the language more robust.  Fairly complete at this stage, but little personal talent for writing adventure games.

A GUI based engine for running interactive fiction games written in a custom scripting language.

Neil might like this

Traditional IF enthusiasts might not like it as there is no text parser.  The Arayna format may be more suitable for portable devices, but there is small chance of porting to one of those :)

That forum looks like one dedicated to Colossal Cave.  I could probably port that over to an Arayna script if someone had made a map and events list and all the room descriptions were available in easy format like text.

there are lots of maps to Colossal Cave - i have exen seen a few by Crowther and Woods   :bg
i probably have one engraved in the back of my brain, someplace - lol

your language looks interesting - i may play with it in Colossal Cave, myself
it would be really cool if i could generate a stand-alone EXE when done, though
if you look through that thread i mentioned above, you will find several links with several downloads, as well as some history

Traditional IF purists might also want to take a look at the AGE library code that is part of the HLA examples downloads. It does pure text adventures in an object-oriented fashion.
