The world in OpenGL

First of all
Thanks hitchhikr

  After careful modification of an OpenGL example you wrote,
and replacing the two .tga files, one with a scaled down
color swapped, gamma and saturation corrected image,
the other whited out.

  The world in OpenGL, speed and initial orientation commented.

Runs ok here.

You might want to rotate the axis of the world a little. Like 24 degrees or so.
