Okay, so I recently installed SUSE 10, and it works great, but I can't play any form of audio or video.  If I try to open something, players complain about missing codecs.  So, where can I find all the codecs and the like I'll need to play M4A's and AVI's?

The codec is the reference to your sound and video chips.
You would need to know this information.
Then lookup Linux to see what files you would need to download that would allow access to these codec.
Check some linux hardware sites for your hardware and see if they have drivers.
Then download the files uncompress them, and then read the doc to install the files properly.

This would just be  a very basic guide.
