Tell me something. Is MS wanted their System as Prophietary?? Sounds they didnot like any 3rd Party. You see, after they understood 3D, they kicked OpenGL. After they understood MP3, they kicked WinAmp. After they understood Excell they kicked 1-2-3. Are they intentionally did it? If this is happened because it will make those company able to resell a new software, anyone can accept it, but, did you ever heard about those 3 company name again? Nope. Never heard of it again.
