Is it possbile to find Sheraton guest listings, and US customs/Flight arrivals listings.
We've lost contact with my son attending the GYLC conference .http://www.cylc.org/gylc/
and I'm not sure whether he knows how to ...'Phone Home'

I tried contacting CYLC for 2 days now.. no answer... mannn they are useless with comms
We just want to make sure he arrived OK!

Thanks

I would get a customer-service number from the Sheraton web site, call them, and explain my situation.
eschew obfuscation

you should be able to call the lobby and ask for your son by name
i find 2 Sheratons in DC
there may be others in outlying areas, like Virginia and Maryland - maybe even Massachussetts

Sheraton Four Points
(202) 289-7600

Sheraton Luxury
(202) 835-2100

as for getting lists of names (from anyplace)
you won't have much luck, unless you can convince them you have lost your son

Thanks.. have sent emails to all the Sheratons I can find  :eek

Damn,...this is starting to sound like a Mission Impossible sequel,...
Unfortunately,...the truth is probably alot more mundane. Your son, probable genius that he is,...has no doubt figured out how to 'access' the mini-bar,...

He professes to not like alcohol !! refuses to even have a drop  :eek
It's probably from the time, I gave him a sour glass of wine to sip from.. he had a lemon face  :green2
That's ok.

I eventually found the hotel and left a message there, and also with the event organisers.
So it looks like he's ok  :U

Kids have a much more free spirited view of the world than us geezers. It's all fun and happy and exploratory.
Adults, however, are psychic. We KNOW how much weird shit happens out there.
...Ya know,...it's Washington DC,...anything could happen,...even a camel stampede,... :eek

i see that call i put in to the NSA worked   :lol

...So,...he's actually OK,...we don't have to send out a search and rescue party ???
I'm experiencing alot of free-floating anxiety over this.

:bg
My father-inlaw hasn't slept for 3 days, he and my mother-inlaw phone me every 4-6 hours.
My mother's phoning all the time, I'm telling everybody to relax - you know how they want to hear that.
My wife's threatening to boycott him... and I'm drinking red wine at 01:30 when the phone rings (I thought I might have to wait for 03:00).
So I'm stressing out because everyone else is asking me the same damm question 20x a day for 3 days now  :tdown, not because he hasn't phoned,
no news is good news.

But as you say Baltoro, I was the same when I was younger.. carefree and enjoying myself without a second thought for the family.
I just had to get the right line to him.. and we're all ok, now.  :8)

Thanks Dave..  :U  :green2

We are all of us insane, just to varying degrees and intelligently balanced through networking
