Slugsnack

Brad

hi Slugsnack,

well... when I come across stuff that I think might be useful to someone I like to share it... but now it leads to another question...

I'm trying to set up an apache server on a fedora box (for testing only)... just starting this.. so not really sure what I'm doing...

I believe apache is set up right, because I get the temp page using localhost... so how do I remotely get the same page?

I know the static ip ... and the mac address/s of the box... how do you put them together????

thx!!!

Tedd

You need to connect via the external IP address (not 127.x.x.x and not 192.x.x.x)
As long as the port is open and the firewall policy allows incoming connections, it should work.
