Versioninfo

Hi All,
This really seems to be inexplicable behavior to me but may just be a Windows fact of life.

Anyway, I like what you can do with Versioninfo but the problem is, it is not always visible to others where I think they are most likely to check, namely the Desktop.  Any application with Versioninfo viewable in My Computer or Explorer by right clicking the app's icon exhibits very different behavior on the Desktop.  Here, the Version tab gets replaced by the Shortcut tab and all my hard efforts are in vain.

EDIT:  I observe this behavior on XP and ME, but it is probably an attribute of all Windows OS'
