Have you ever tried to change your wife's habits after she once gets engrossed in them.
This is my plight with (Outlook Express)!. Don't come down on me as I don't use the darned
thing. She is doing 4 identities and gets about 100 emails a day. Very popular......:)
But guess what, I have to maintain the darned thing.
You single guys wouldn't know about this as you are still living in bliss.
To the best of my knowledge there isn't another email program that will let you have 4
separate identities. Don't tell me about Google, Indredimail(hehe). Thunderbird,  Windows
Mail doesn't do it. What does????

i am fairly certain that thunderbird does allow 4 IDs - several, in fact
but - i hear ya - lol
Zara had 3 programs installed just to make screen-shots - lol
it took me a month of sundays to get her weaned off those
when i look at her add/remove list, it is like dumping her purse out on the floor
50 pens - 50 pencils - 100 books of matches AND 20 cigarette lighters - as far as i know, she is neither a writer, nor an arsonist
well - she does write poetry - but on the computer

ah, a fellow who knows what I am talking about.

Thunderbird is my email goody and I don't think it does separate identities like OE.
At least not in the same fashion. If it's at all different  I am in big trouble.

Thunderbird - Tools menu - Account Settings
near the lower left corner - Add Account button

I agree TB will do multiple identities BUT it is a bare bones multiple identity.
She is into all the frills of OE.
I mentioned it to her and the bump on my head will go away in a few days.

well - if she is dead set on using oe....
learn it inside out - become a g.d. expert on the dang thing
that way - you can fix it for her and show her the little tips and tricks
the alternative is to eat dinner out of a can   :bg

Jack,

I would go with thunderbird as well. I installed it on the new box as my year 2000 Netscape that I used for email for years would not install but it easily handled my email list going back into the 1990s.

As many profiles as you like, reasonable options to set it all up and it is regularly maintained. Just recently it notified an upgrade ready so next time I started it it did the upgrade and worked fine, even removed a couple of irritations the earlier version had.

Tell Dona its really KEWL to use a good reliable email client.
