Spy OS??

I was just wondering if creating an operating system that spys on windows is possible?

The os would replace the windows bootloader and load itself into the memory... and also windows. However it would only allow windows to use a certain amount of ram by filing unused ram that spy os isn't using with garbage data.  The os would install drivers into windows so that windows would send all keyboard, mouse, and video communication through the new os OR the os could contain its own device drivers in order to capture information.  Activity logs would be encypted using blowfish and stored on a stolen piece of disk space converted to a partition of alternate file format (not NTFS)... The spy os might get around bios\ram issues by modifying the bios info.
   Is there anyway a scheme like this could be implemented? Or would windows kill it?     :eek    been thinking about this one for a while...

SoftICE does something similar so it can debug the kernel.

It's normally called VM ware.  A word to the wise.  Be careful how you word things.  If it wasn't for the fact you are just starting out and you don't know what your asking for.  And possibly your about 5 - 10 man years away from such a piece of software anyway.  I don't think any of us have that kind of time to devote right now.

Otherwise, it just now a humorous request.   :green2

Some people would call it a trojan or virus.

It fits the technical defination of a virus, because it injects code that a user is un-aware of. 

3. Legality of content is not a negotiable matter in the forum. Assembler programming is mainstream programming and is primarily used by professional programmers who require the performance in specialised areas. Low level coding is both allowed and encouraged but there will be no viral or trojan technology allowed including technical data under the guise of AV technology, no cracking and similar activities in the guise of "Reverse Engineering", no hacking techniques or related technology and no support or help with or reference to pirated software. There will also be no links to pages that support or display any of these or any other illegal areas of coding.
