hutch--

I have just cleaned up a backup I had of the first masm forum, ditched the junk and archived it as a Winrar SFX.

I changed the link to a spare US site I have to save bandwidth on the new site. I tested it here from OZ and it seems fine.

I don't have a very fast connection, and I don't now what difference the protocols could make, but the download took me ~180 seconds, versus ~90 seconds for a slightly larger file from ftp.microsoft.com.

Thanks, allowing for the difference in protocol and the distance, its probably OK.

39 seconds at 300KB/sec in Adelaide (and that's over my slow wireless!).
Light travels faster than sound, that's why some people seem bright until you hear them.

Ghirai,

I removed the junk like photos of screens and multiple upgrades of various things which brought the size down from 18 meg to about 12 meg. You are welcome to put this Winrar archive on your site as it may save you some bandwidth. I put the copyright notice in it to protect the members who contributed the code from collectors and code collection resellers.
