easiest way to determine if mouse is clicked

The main thing to keep in mind here is that I need to monitor mouse activity outside of my programs window. I've reviews Iczelions tut on SetWindowsHookEx and it seems to be what I need   :toothy. Thanks for all your ideas.  :clap:
