i wonder if this is a sign of things to come
not very bright....
if you want to avoid an uprising or revolt, the last thing you muck with is the alchohol and tobacco

notice that our government has a "Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives"   :bg
there is a good reason why those things are grouped together - lol
and it's probably not "let's get drunk and go to the firing range"

A couple more sad points.

The horse track was force to shut down.

Powerball has been baned also.

People who just bought cars are getting tickets for expired plates.

It's ironic if you think about it,...Minnesota used to be known for having the best public health system in the United States.
Didn't you elect Jesse Ventura as governor ? And, in his campaign to 'get government off your backs', he cut spending for public health to the point where all the competent epidemiologists were forced to quit because they were making about one tenth what they would be making in the private sector.
Here in California. we elect movie stars as governor. It's pretty damn stupid.

Jesse's main theme was - I will take your wasted votes, meaning that all the candidates sucked.
Jesse had the right ideas for us.  Since then we have been nudged with officials that don't listen to the people, kinda like obama.
