In another computer, I pulled out a card.

Sohoware P/N 9S-821000-07 A1

On the end it has Lnk/Act 10/100 with a LED for each.

I could find little info, but I think it might be a network card.

On a side note, I have noticed that about 80% of the motherboards I have found are for AMD chips.

Maybe it's just a coincidence.

It could be a random act of randomness. Those happen a lot as well.

Pretty similar.

I didn't see any drivers for what I have,
but I have only seen one computer without a network card or one built in.

Andy

Someone told me there were only two cases, ATX and a mini.

I think there are 3, I found one case using an AMD chip, but the mounting holes were way different that other cases I have seen.

I really like those aluminum cases.

see if you can ID the chip used on the NIC
if so, you can probably use another driver that supports that chip

MichaelW

If the NIC is old enough, and mainstream enough, Windows 98 may have a driver for it.

I decided that the system was too slow, so I salvaged the memory and some cooling fans.
