Speaker is silent now

I took off the front piece of my computer that has the 2 USB ports
and mini plug style jacks in order to clean out the contacts of the USB ports.

Now my speaker isn't working anymore.
(I think I connected something wrong or worse.)

I plugged the speakers into the front audio port and still no sounds.

Compaq Presario SR1303WM Desktop

I could not find a picture of how it is supposed to be wired up.
