ScrollBar problem

Due to a recent post, I have been looking into scrollbar messages and although for text they are straightforward. For painting with text and with bitmaps there are a different story. I have been trying to convert the MSDN Scrollbar C example into asm and my minds gone blank (ever decreasing circles)  It all happens in the WM_SIZE & WM_VSCROLL messages. I have attached an example of how far I've got , using a VSCROLL only for simplicity. If you have some time to look at it it would be appreciated. You might need to add a bitmap or commet out the bitmap calls to compile it.
