I use Ewayne AsmEdit v5.0.0.1 and the very old version of Qeditor and don't plan to switch unless until a new version prove to really be better.  I would like to use the new version of Qeditor but I never could find a way to keep a new size of the window like you can do in the old version Qeditor using the old Qeditor ini file.

The new version don't work, at lease none that I founded.  Have  anyone ever notice this or is it that I just don't know how it work ???

I like the font size change in the new version which should have been in the old version because it is capable of keeping window size changes.

If the new version cannot keep a new sized window do anyone know how I can increase the font size when using the old version.  I think it use FIXEDFON.FON, smallFont or Terminal.  Is there a way I can double the display size of this font or any other small font that the system use?

Any tips about this may also help when viewing other windows that use those blinding tincy-wincy font.  Everybody don't have a 32 inch monitor.

Also, how can I fix the new Qeditor to keep a new window size?

Thanks in advance

I don't remember but 2 out of three of these large numbers below is what keep the old Qeditor window position and size...

hutch--

Back when QE has the capacity to set its startup window size, almost no-one ever used it so when I wrote the current version I set it to a percentage of the screen size when it starts which cannot be changed. The current version is a far better editor, can do much more, scripting etc ... i personally start it, size it if I need it and use it normally but most of the time I use it full screen as I can see a lot more code that way.

Mr. hutch... how would you know no one ever used it after close to a half million downloads???   :)

People just never bother to comment about it.  I'm sure most looked at it as an introduction way to get started with masm32 and eventually founded something else to use or simply lived with it like I still do.  I got great need for that down to earth little editor.  I even replaced Windows  Notepad to open .txt files with it for good reasons i founded.

Off and on I spent a lot of time trying to make it resize.  I'm sure a few others have tried too.  Glad to know once and for all it can't be done.

Anyway, by re-sizing to my ideal size I can display some of my screen so i can quickly get to a few well placed short cuts on the desktop to do other needed things as I go.

I be sticking with the old version for quite a while.  There got to be a way to change those default Windows fonts.  I just need to know how to make Windows default small fonts increase in size or how to replace them with other desirable fonts.

Is this possible.  I will even buy a program that can do the job.  Is there a link for one or info about how-to.  I tried but only founded one link with info about it and some how lost it immediately ... Never could find it again... System crash or something.
