Hi all, just a quick question. I am new to Assembly programming and i have just got hold of 'Art Of Assembly Language 32 Bit Edition', MASM32, and HLA, is this all i need to get started in Assembly? I'm a keen and fast learner so there is no problem there. I have also got Intel reference manuals and Intel Architecture manuals. Am i good to go?. And what else could anyone  suggest i get hold of reading material wise? Many thanks to you all. PD

Like any other subject, the more you learn, the more you will realize there is so much more to learn. What you have listed is a good starting point. Once you master the basics, you may have the need to get involved in other fields which may be impossible to grasp at this point. Just feel free to ask if you need any help during your learning curve.

Thanks Raymond, it's good to know i'm starting in the right place with the right stuff. There are so many compilers and tutorials out there it's difficult to know where to start. Looks like i'm going to need this forum quite a bit in the future for a bit of expert advice. Thanks for your advice :U
