Hallo at all from Germany,

First of all, please excuse my bad english!!
I am an new member in this commnunity and by the way here i am.
I have a simple question, this was, is MASM Open Source ore it's Closed Source.

MASM (the assembler, etc) is by Microsoft - so closed source.

But you will find in this community that many are happy to share (their code) with others.
No snowflake in an avalanche feels responsible.

If you are mentioning about ml.exe , ( Microsoft Macro assembler ) it's closed source.

Hi Rude,

Welcome on board. Microsoft supply masm in most instances as only to be used in Windows but there are other very good assemblers which don't have the problem. NASM and FASM both support LINUX, the GNU assembler GAS with the Intel syntax option is a very good low level tool. If you run a WINE emulator, you can use POASM and GoAsm so you have plenty to choose from.
