desktop icon text colour

g'day people...
followed a thread about desktop icons (listview etc) and wrote some code...
i love the LVS_SMALLICON style

while i was there, i tried to change the colour of the text...

all goes well (it's in startup) on boot, but after about 10..20 secs it changes to
white text (standard?). why is this so...i like my yellow on black...

because it gets changed back to the system's default colour from somewhere else? (ie. by explorer itself)

just another little annoyance from microsoft...you can change everything else but the colour...
