Need helpo with special caracters

hi, am  new in this forum am from bolivia, first a learn to program in assembler for 16 bits  :bdg then i learn to program in mam32, :bdg i've use turbo debug with my programs in 16 bits, but now with masm32 i dont know what to use,..
   Well, i have one more question.. i have read many books about programing assembler , i have read hutch tutotial win32help and some other things... but at this moment i dont really understand when to use this caracter " @  ", well i now for example when u use it before DATA it referes to that segment but when u just put @@: ?????

Ollydbg is simplest debugger for 32-bit applications. You can use Softice, W32Dasm ...
@@: is used for labels if You don't need too much jumps to it with @F (forward) and @B (backward):
  jmp @F       ;jump to 1.label @@
...
@@:             ;1.label
...
  jmp @B       ;jump to 1.label @@
...
  jmp @F       ;jump to 2.label @@
...
@@:             2.label
...
  jmp @B       ;jump to 2.label @@

It's described in help to MASM. You don't need to use this, You can use named labels:
YourLabel:
...
   jmp YourLabel
