I get so sick of all the bad news media feeds us daily. Here's a couple sites I visit that only posts good news. Yep, hard to believe it, but there is good news out there!

http://www.greatnewsnetwork.org/

As common and disturbing  as it is in China, the Chinese's people selling their body parts such as kidneys for money, to survive, the following links give me hope for future generations.

I find it not hard to believe that within another 100 years people well be living up to 200 years of age.

Living forever. Brings to mind lyrics from a group called Oingo Boingo from the 70's.

QuoteNo one beats him at his game
For very long but just the same
Who cares, there's no place safe to hide
Nowhere to run--no time to cry
So celebrate while you still can
'cause any second it may end.

And when it's all been said and done
Better that you had some fun
Instead of hiding in a shell-
why make your life a living hell?
So have a toast, and down the cup
And drink to bones that turn to dust . . .

Science is moving towards a longer lifetime, perhaps even a reversal of aging. While this may seem the holy grail, you need to remember liveing longer means MORE people to feed and more people who need a JOB. If and when we extend our lifetimes, we MUST adjust our concept of social progress. If we can create smart robots to do the work, and can produce enough food for the population, we must also rethink reproduction. An expanding population with no death means less room and resourses for everybody

I wonder if there will be a future in which you live without sickness but they shoot you when you are 50.
