Europe is already trying to stop any more Nuclear Plants being built.
1st let me say that I know Nuclear plants are very dangerous.
There is no way a plant can be built to stand up against nature.
Put all the safe guards in it that you can. Build it up on a 100 or 150 foot pad.
BUT, let me ask the unthinking loadmouths how they will get warm when there is no power
into their houses, fuel for their furnaces or gas for there sports vehicles. Then the loadmouths
will blame the government for not forseeing their dilemma. We went through this nonsense
about 20 or 30 years ago. Oil, coal will soon cease to exist. What then?

Nuclear plants are very safe.

I worked for a utility company that had nuclear plants.

I saw a video of them testing the concrete containment vessel.

They put a 3000 lb. piece of a turbine on a rocket sled.

They blast it into the reinforced concrete at a couple hundred miles an hour.

It only penetrated about 5 inches out of a 3 foot thick wall.
