I installed the Sp3 to my Home Edition and now my fax modem is now a  "regular" modem.

I can't even install the better modem drivers from Safe Mode.

Would it be hard to write code to send a fax?

I don't care about any log files, etc.

I don't want to do the "Internet send fax" either.

i would go to the website for the modem mfgr and see if they have updated drivers
also - it sometimes helps to uninstall the old driver completely - then try again

Already did both.

I will see if there is a command line program.
