Hi all,

currently i try to write a dynamic VxD with masm32. I could not find vmm.inc vwin32.inc and some other .inc-files you need for
developping Vxds

Does anyone know, where to get those files ?

thanks george

I'm not to sure if this package can procude vxd's but you might want to look into it anyways:

Great link, great kit!

Unfortunatly my Vxd must run under Win98 (stupid me, i forgot to mention)

The files i´m looking for should be included in microsoft´s DDK98, but this version of DDK is not available
for download at microsoft anymore. Only subscribers to MSDN are able to download this kit. I didn´t subscribe
to MSDN and i don´t intend to do so only to get these files.

So if someone knows how to get vmm.inc etc. or DDK98, please let me know

Thanks george

Microsoft will not allow hotlinking of files, that link will not work.

To bypass hotlink protection (for anything) Drag-and-Drop the link (or image) onto your IE address bar. For example, click and hold on his W98DDK link, drag it to your address bar at the top, and release it, you'll get the "File Download" box thingy.

That is amazing.  It may not be ethical, though.

Thanks guys,

in the meantime i found what i was looking for !

As to ethics: microsoft offered ddk98 as a free download for years, but nowadays they want to push XP,
and therefore try to restrict resources for older windows versions (here win98).
                  Thats´s  my opinion.

thanks anyway

Afaik, the XPDDK I have (that I got from MS) can produce W95/98/ME, I'm at work so I can't check for sure, but I will when I get home. I could've sworn I saw a readme or guide for W9X type vxd's in the DDK.
