Hi six_L,

Also, you can use the Open Office package to view ppt files.

Erol, he should test the .ppt file in question, OpenOffice is a good product but I have seen MS .ppt files which do not render 100% accurately. In any case, compatibility has been steadily improving every revision.

my first post is highly "accurate" - lol
what they are saying is, if you create a ppt and want to distribute it, you may want to test it with open office
the ms viewer that i linked above should display the ppt's correctly
since ms defines the ppt format, if that viewer doesn't display the file properly, then it really isn't a ppt file

PowerPointViewer.exe,25.8 MB
MS OFFICE, 187MB.

too long sizes.

someplace i have a program i wrote that strips all the images out of a ppt file

PowerPointViewer is nice alternate if you don't want to install office. :U

One advantage of Open Office is that is offers a portable version which does not modify the registry and the WINDOWS directory.
