Title: Strange FPU Command? Undocumented?
Post by: johnsa on July 02, 2008, 06:29:55 PM

So I was looking at some disassembly from some C# code... and found this line...

0000007b DF F1            fcomip      st,st(1)

So... I know of ficomp .. and i can't see any fcom instruction in the intel reference with the bytes DF F1.. am I missing something? :)

Is Duxford in England and south of Cambridge just off the M11
and home of Imperial War Museum.
They have a static Concorde aircraft on display.

Johnsa,

Don't be embarrassed. I have done worse and had to beg Hutch to remove the thread (a year or so ago as I recall). I wanted to crawl under a rock.

Use the attached Opcode Listview, it helps. The Pentium II version is ordered both ways in separate listviews making it easy to pinpoint an opcode.
