With thansk to both herge and Erol, I have fixed the libay build, added Michael Webster's timing macros, finished the QE CHM help file and done a couple of tweaks to QE, it now supports the /script command line to load a script and run it. To match this option I have added a new script comand "editclose" so the editor can be shut down by a script when it is finished.

I am hoping this one is coming close to a release version so any feedback is welcome.
Thanks hutch, I'll be trying it out.
INC2l.exe and 2 other files from this package got tagged by NOD32 antivirus. Any reason for this or just false positives. Thanks.
Hi dhucul,
They are fase positives, you can be sure. Me too, I faced the same situation with Avira Antivirus Personal on other executables coming with the Masm32 package.
Hi Hutch,
Version Beta 10 (i) builds all the libraries without any problem :U
Thanks Erol. :U
QuoteVersion Beta 10 (i) builds all the libraries without any problem
Ditto here on Vista SP1.
remove \include\rslt.txt from setup?
Gratsie :thumbu
So this is the newest Version?
Thank you very much!
under Windows XP SP3 run correctly :)
Thanks, these tests of version compatibility are useful. :U
I had no problems installing and using the MASM package Beta 10i under Win2k.
Thank you so much ;-)
Thanks noob,
Every bit of feedback is useful.
I would like to add special thanks to Jim Giordano for having sent me a complete conversion of Vlaidmir Kim's help file to CHM that matches the appearance of the current set.
I would also like to thank Michael Webster for having made the time to write a set of examples for his timing macros so that this very useful capacity is more accessible to people who can make use of it.
I have found and fixed some bugs in some of the example code hidden away in a subdirectory, there was a redefinition problem with a couple and an incompatible wsprintf prototype in a couple more.
As I imagine you expected on my Windows 2000 system the installation was trouble free, and over the 10 days I have been using it I have seen no problems.
Hi Hutch :bg
Will you be adding the wincrypt.inc file to the final release? It was mentioned here and provided by Jupiter in a .zip download...
http://www.masm32.com/board/index.php?topic=6855.0
Probably not, it does not appear to be a standard Microsoft library judging from the XP Sp2 set of libraries and includes I have.
These occur as part of the Microsoft SP2 set.
crypt32.inc
cryptdll.inc
cryptnet.inc
cryptui.inc
This is the header from the WinCrypt.h that came with the February 2003 SDK:
// Microsoft Windows
// Copyright (C) Microsoft Corporation, 1992-1999.
//
// File: wincrypt.h
//
// Contents: Cryptographic API Prototypes and Definitions
I checked a few of the functions declared in the header file, and they were all from crypt32.dll.
the latest .zip installed properly on the first go, & whatever code i've tried has Assembled normally. :U
using WinXp Pro -SP2
thanks!!!
Since it seems to be 100% stable, would you please make the official/final release ?
And a changelog would be nice as well, I like to keep track of things :-D
P.S.: After so much time, I wanna thank you hutch and the rest of this community for keeping the best assembler alive !
THANKS :cheekygreen: :U
P.S.2: I wanna have your babies :-)

Won't be long, I am a bit tied up writing the next version of QE at the moment.
