This site show many ways of Dual-Booting in Windows Vista/XP, Windows/Linnex combinations.

A year or so ago I was unable to put Ubuntu and Windows XP on the same hard drive
but this site shows how to do that and much more.

Sorry all for giving a bad link.
Here is what I did to get to the site:

xxxx://the vistaforums.com
http = xxxx

Look for "Windows Vista Support and click on it.

When that window comes up scroll down to a sticky called
"dual boot vista/xp/linux and click on it

Hope I got it right this time....
