Title: Network installations
Post by: Merrick on May 15, 2007, 08:35:35 PM
I've never tried, and don't expect to, but I was wondering *why* MASM32 wouldn't install on a network drive. That just seems couterintuitive to me. If it's properly mapped the installation program shouldn't care if the hard drive is internal, external, ata, sata, usb, wireless, microwave, whatever.
Why won't it install on a network drive?

I assume that by "network" install, Hutch means an unmapped network drive...many programs do not support unc paths.

It's support issue.  There are a bunch of people who customize their MASM32 for network operation.  Just don't expect any help from Hutch.
