Hi all,

This is HiEditor V1.0.1.2

What's new

1.OEM charset can now be selected. If so, editing inserts OEM chars (Thanks Nikos)

2.Use Alt+0xxx from numpad to insert appropriate char. Note: 0=Alt+0256 (Thanks icehole)

3.Added Keyboard shortcuts to the dialog buttons (Thanks Ghirai)

4.Holding CTRL-F4 pressed incremented the x in *Filex; not any more (Thanks Ghirai)

5.Double-clicking on the empty space at the right of the existing items opens up a new file (Thanks Ghirai)

6.Holding down -> or <- keeps scrolling items on HiTab control

7.Save All -> Save Files dialog does not show cancel button now (Thanks Nikos)

8.Esc removes Go To Line Dialog

9.Smoother overall appearance

10.Windows inherent top-left size flicker is now gone (Thanks JamesB)

11.Can now SAFELY copy 0 bytes to the clipboard (including Win98), pasting is MUCH faster for large blocks of text

12.You can replace NUL's with ~ in HiEditor.ini i.e. FileTypes=All Files (*.*)~*.*~Assembly files (*.asm)~*.asm~Include files (*.inc)~*.inc~Resource files (*.rc)~*.rc~Batch files (*.bat)~*.bat~Text files (*.txt)~*.txt~~ -good for Win98 uers - (Thanks SeaFarer)

13.Edit-Find, Edit-Replace, Edit-Go To Line dialogs got the focus if it is already created

14.Message dispatch loop is faster now

15.Drag on HiTab to change a file item position

16.VERY much better behaviour when choosing selected item from the context menu

17.A bug when pasting text fixed (Thanks shantanu_gadgil)

18.CTRL+Ins & SHIFT+Ins silly bugs fixed (Thanks shantanu_gadgil)

19.Page Up & Page down bugs were introduced in V1.0.1.1 due to control
scrollbars instead of window ones; fixed

20.A LOT of speed improvements and small flicker removal

Just got the latest version! Nice! Also used the undo thing in the toolbar (Don't know if it has been there all along :bg :bg). Pretty cool!!!

All I can say is...Woohoo!!!

Undo/Redo lists have been available since V1.0.0.6 !!!! I don't believe you 've missed them!
