Title: ReadFIle - WriteFile operations too long
Post by: TNick on July 13, 2006, 11:51:00 AM
My girlfriend just told me the other evening that she had read a SF book in wich all new-born child had all the knowledge as they were born, so they don't have to read/learn anything. They only have to discover new things.
Man, this would be great... because I DON'T HAVE TIME. :dazzled: I NEED TIME. :eek Does anyone have time? I buy some if you have ... negociable price, of course!

If we passed on knowledge as genetic information that would work. But, doing so would limit our progress since there would be no reason to try. Progress is made in the face of adversity, without that - why try? Plus we would be carrying around a huge amount of residual USELESS information.

Who said that adversity will dissapear? And someone can sort that information! Does anyone want this job? No? Ok, I sacrifice myself ... :)
