I had put it back up so members could browse the old forum but the PHPBB2 software has serious security holes in it and it was hacked again today. Connections to it were redirected to the RosAsm forum so I have taken the old forum down until further notice.

I will have a look at a way to put its contents into a more secure form of access but I have not chased that up at the moment.

hutch, I know it might be a fair bit of work... but I don't know if you are aware that there is a utility on the SMF site to convert phpbb2 databases to SMF format:

I have already done it and its working but its a bit rough around the edges. Most of the postings seem to be intact but it has messed up some of the attachments and orphaned a number of postings. When I get it safe enough to use, I will post the URL.
