Title: kmake 1.0 beta
Post by: Sevag.K on April 29, 2006, 06:41:46 AM
kmake is just about ready for porting to Linux.
I've released the beta for some testing.  In the new version, I've dropped 'make' compatibility mode as it's too much work and nobody seems to use it.

Some rudimentary "documents" appear as comments in the sample diagnostic script "kmake"

Here's kmake1.0 beta for Linux.

-some permanent changes:
"kmake" will no longer be the default source file as this conflicts with the Linux executable.  The new default source file is "kmakesrc" for both Linux and Windows (when win32 verson of kmake1.0.009 is released).  The extension for source files, ".kmk" remains the default extension for both versions.

A sample kmakesrc is included in attachment given the lack of documentation.
