Post by: Retsim_X on January 17, 2005, 06:49:07 AM
Hey Guys,

I was wondering if there was an Assembler Programmers Chat Room?
if not i was wondering is it possible to create one???

a chat room would make things a lot quicker ...

not that i dont like forums or anything.

Thanks

There used to be the IRC channel on Efnet called #win32asm but these days you are likely to get your head bitten off for mentioning "assembler" there. Most of the talent gave it up some years ago and I doubt it has improved any over the last few years.

Hi,
I tried that chat room when I recently got the IRC bug!! ;) . It was active only when it was night here(my timezone is GMT+5:30) . There are some talented guys there but this is much better.

I went to #win32asm and called them a bunch of posers and wannabe assembler programmers.  I told them we could take them with one arm tied behind our back in a assembler gang war! ;)  just kidding

A chat on a one-on-one might be very benifical but a group chat with many people there at the same time might prove to be more of a headache than posting your question on a forum and then just sit back and wait.
