Title: Windows artficial intelligence in delete function
Post by: skywalker on February 26, 2006, 01:44:15 PM
I'm guessing this may also be a registry hack.

Windows wants to delete all files associated with downloaded web pages instead of just sub-dirs like the user wants.

(It's handy when you're transferring to floppy and it knows to copy all needed files but I can live without that)

Thanks.

Nothing so evil :bg

Under Folder Options, View tab there is an option labelled "Managing pairs of Web pages and folders". Select the one you prefer :U

Alternatively, select 'Web Page, HTML only' when saving your pages.
