Title: qe editor
Post by: petezl on November 25, 2005, 02:43:41 PM
Hutch,

Is there anyway to changed the backgroud colour of qe editor to a light grey?

I have a new LCD monitor that even on the lowest brightness setting is giving me a headache!

Peter.

Peter,

I intentionally set it so it used the system defined background colour so that it would have the correct appearance on any system. When I set up a new box, its one of the things I change as I hate bright white backgrounds.

IOW - set your system 'window' colour to a light grey (Display Properties -> Appearance -> (Advanced) -> Item: Window)

[Or keep nagging for a text/background-colour setting :bdg]

Thanks Tedd,
Made it a lot better with your help!

Hutch, It would be nice to have a window background colour option in QE editor, perhaps it could be added sometime!  I'm surprised that this new fangled monitor hasn't got selectable memory options for different viewing such as when editing pictures or simply reading files etc...
