Title: Would EasyCode allow for 16 bit code compilation for bootloader
Post by: proton on October 19, 2005, 05:51:29 PM
Hello sir,
Thanks for such a nice GUI interface..................

Would easycode be modified to add some extra command line swicthes while invoking masm so that we could link
a program as 16 bit .com,.exe & .sys files. The reason for 16 bit linking is simple if you want to write or assamble a bootloader. Also
many new programmers may like to work with 16 bits as well.

The GUI interface is so nice that i would like if there is an option to produce C or C++ source code from the Form editor
in addition to .asm files.

Thanks
S.Sheik mohamed

Thanks.

Hi proton,

Pleased to meet you. Easy Code cannot support 16-bit code as it's designed to work with 32-bit Windows (Windows 95 or later). About producing C and C++ code, I've been thinking of that for years but I don't have as much time as I would like. Anyway, I will adit to my 'to do' list.

Best regards,

Ramon
