Ring 0 is something related to the processor itself. Do you want to know what ring 0 is, or how it's used in Windows?

In the first case, go straight to the source: the Intel manuals. Or the AMD manuals.

In the second (and assuming you already know what ring 0 is) I can recommend you this book (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0735619174/002-4612263-7732840?v=glance).

In any case you've got a lot of studying to do :wink

i think you might like:

this (http://www.osronline.com/) and this (http://www.assembly-journal.com/) site. They both were very interesting when i was learning kernel mode driver development for Windows.

Have fun learning ;-)
