Title: DirectX 8.0 Animation question
Post by: mdevries on December 27, 2004, 01:26:24 PM
Hi there,

I have downloaded ScrontSofts 8.0 DirectX files for Masm32.

Now I have a question: How can I show animation in Masm32 using key-frames in DirectX version 8.0:

I am using MilkShape 1.5.9 as a 3D-modeler: It gives me the opportunity to export
my 3D-model as a DirectX 8.0 x-file.
Suppose I have set different key-frames in MilkShape as a base for my animation,
and export the different key-frames to one DirectX 8.0 x-file.
How can I show the animation between the key-frames in Masm32.

Maybe someone has a simple example or code snippet?

Friendly regards,
mdevries.

mdevries,
Did you notice on Scronty's site that he has a DirectX forum?  You might get a better answer there.  Of course, Scronty is the DirectX Guru in my opinion.

To be more specific, a forum is mentioned on www.scrontsoft.com, but in fact it doesn't exist.

I posted a question on www.scrontsoft.com too. But nevertheless, if someone who reads this has a Masm32 example of animation using keyframes in DirectX 8.0, you are welcome.
