Title: Skype alternatives....
Post by: vanjast on February 27, 2012, 09:26:06 PM
As it says.. Are there any skype alternatives. something 'small, dirty and fully functional'.

Just curious as I downloaded skype for the family, and it's a full 18MB of installation 'crap'.
Really!! what garbage is contained in this
:wink

Microsoft Messenger/Live
Google Talk/Chat

To be honest, I've found Skype to be one of the most effective, If you don't want the Add-On or Toolbar stuff, just check that you don't want them. It's not as if any of the Yahoo/Microsoft/Google tools don't want to install a bunch of other junk themselves.
