i've looked at the example code in the example5 folder but i dont know how to call my plugin

ive set a messagebox to get called when the dll gets attached to the process but i dont know how to call my dll.

Ash,

Its a plugin for Quick Editor so you can extend the functionality of the editor. You set it up on the menu from within qeditor.exe.
