I was channel surfing on the TV trying to find the Russian game of the World Junior hockey tournament and stopped on TLC for a moment. They have this pedophile show called "Toddlers and Tiaras" where a**hole parents dress their kids up like adults and parade them in front of an audience on TV. Granted that I don't watch much but hockey and NOVA on TV but I had no idea that they would even consider a show like this. I asked myself am I the only one who sees something wrong here ? Apparently not:

I tend to be on the kid's side and while I see pageants as just bad taste, I don't see any evil in it. As long as I remember little girls have dressed up in their mum's gear when they could get away with it.
Much the same comments for bikini competitions for bigger girls (16 and over), probably in bad taste but they seem to enjoy themselves so i see no harm in it.

Sure they enjoy themselves. But check the ads that are aired during the show: If they try to sell Lego, puppets and other toys, then you may be right that there is "no harm in it". If the ads address a senior male audience, then it's another (ugly) story.

Have you ever watched Ridiculousness (http://www.mtv.com/shows/ridiculousness/series.jhtml), on MTV ??? It's just clips of people doing stupid (and, incredibly painful) stunts.
What I'd REALLY like to see (if it was a perfect world),...is continuous film of Banff,...and, the wilderness of British Columbia, the Cascades, the Wind Rivers, California's Sierra Nevada.
...Maybe, even the Karakoram,...or, The Great Barrier Reef,...
