Title: Seems that I have no candidate to vote on this elections.
Post by: xanatose on November 10, 2011, 03:17:42 AM
Between Obama the liar. And the 7 stoogies in the republican party (with some redeming values from Ron Paul, but not all).  I seem to have no one to vote for.

This guys are suggesting on their infinite wisdom to eliminate the department of Education so that the deficit is eliminated. None support intelligent use of resources from the military. And only Ron Paul suggest to audit the FED.

I wonder what the child do without an education if one of this bozos get elected. Imagine letting the education a 100% on private institutions. Specially with people not having jobs and many not having even where to live.

How would you change the problem that only the rich are represented on both houses, but specially in the White House. How can the terrain be leveled so that a person from any economical level could practically (not just in theory, but practically) be elected to office. Specially when the candidates come from 2 tribes that re[resent exactly the same mafias.

I'm sad to say, but it seems that the only hope the people of the USA have is a revolution. This morons do not even say about increasing the tax of investment capital gains (maybe because hedge funds are the main contributors for both parties).

You have a friend in the US Constitution, a very advanced document in its time, shame so many people disregard it now. The FED and private financial control of the US economy by foreign bankers are your enemy along with any who use extended wars to sell military hardware in what IKE called "The Military/Industrial Complex".

The US really needs to return to proper Lasseiz Faire CAPITALISM where competition produced better products and services, not the dirty deal of the corporate sector in bed with Government ripping the heart out of the US and its people. Unbridled corporate greed in bed with Government is just another flavour of FASCISM, the same stuff that propped up Hitler, big corporations feeding an extended war to keep making massive profits by bleeding the economy dry.

Hi Xanatose,
My sentiments exactly. Over the past 30 or so years  we have been presented with the lessor of two
evils to vote for. I will still have to protest vote. Then I hear from the Republicans, don't throw away
your vote but vote for a Republican and perpetuate the same nonsense forever.
What I am really worried about is this foreigner in the White House. The Democratic/Republican should
insist that a candidate prove that he/she is an American. I know the uninformed still believe he is the
greatest thing since sliced bread. I'm a member of the Reform Party which doesn't have a prayer of going
anywhere with the monopolistic boys in control. The purpose of government is DEFENSE of the country
and INFOSTRUCTURE and NOTHING else. We need desperately to get our nose out of other countries
business. I feel sadly that we are seeing the end of the USA. We don't need to be turned into a socialist
country so that the people like the scum demonstrating on Wall street can feed at the government trough.

Say what??? Shankle you have got to be kidding us. Are you that naive to believe that nonsense about Obama not being born in the United States? What is it with you birthers? Get over it!!

"FactCheck.org staffers have now seen, touched, examined and photographed the original birth certificate. We conclude that it meets all of the requirements from the State Department for proving U.S. citizenship. Claims that the document lacks a raised seal or a signature are false. We have posted high-resolution photographs of the document as "supporting documents" to this article. Our conclusion: Obama was born in the U.S.A. just as he has always said."

http://factcheck.org/2008/08/born-in-the-usa/

And if you need more evidence I'll post all you want but I know you birthers can never be convinced!! :tdown

I just read on a reliable site that 9/11 was the work of Eric Holder and Barack Obama in a conspiracy to distract from the cover-up over his birth certificate. That and everybody knows President Obama is a muslim. And you wonder whats wrong with America. I'll tell you whats wrong with America, we are suffering from a severe case of repuglatitious.(http://www.quickersoft.com/pictures/crackmeup.gif)

Hi,

Thanks Bill!  Though I would say recent president.  My memories
of Kennedy and Ford were somewhat positive.

Mental illness seems to be a Republican starting point.  Then they
go and add stupidity.

Cheers,

Steve

I really dislike the Republicans but even the Democrats seem to be out of touch with the common people.

My memories of IKE are all good ones, probably the last Republican President I had any time for. JFK was an interesting person as well, shame about the end results.

If the republicans didn't have such hate towards President Obama and would just pass his Jobs bill it would put many thousands of laborers back to work plus add an even greater need for skilled trades. I know that here in PA his jobs bill would put many to work fixing this states infrastructure such as our thousands of crumbling bridges, but those bastard republicans are so determined to stop a second term for President Obama that they will drag this country to the bottom if necessary. They don't give a rats-ass about what happens to average Americans as long as their rich fat cat owners get what they want, that being more record profits.

Just a few of the things Obama has managed to achieve for the average citizen; Signed the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act, restoring basic protections against pay discrimination for women and other workers. Provided travel expenses to families of fallen soldiers to be on hand when the body arrives at Dover AFB. Provided the Department of Veterans Affairs with more than $1.4 billion to improve services to America's Veterans. Signed the Children's Health Insurance Reauthorization Act, which provides health care to 11 million kids 4 million of whom were previously uninsured. Established Credit Card Bill of Rights, preventing credit card companies from imposing arbitrary rate increases on customers. Health Care Reform Bill, preventing insurance companies from denying insurance because of a pre-existing condition. Health Care Reform Bill, allowing children to remain covered by their parents' insurance until the age of 26. Tax cuts for up to 3.5 million small businesses to help pay for employee health care coverage. Expansion of Medicaid to all individuals under age 65 with incomes up to 133 percent of the federal poverty level. Significantly expanded Pell grants, which help low-income students pay for college. Cut prescription drug cost for medicare recipients by 50%.

It isn't that Obama isn't trying, its that the republicans won't allow him to succeed.

Bill,

You are probably right in saying he achieved something, although ... the expectations were pretty high. For my part, I am a little bit suspicious if a candidate receives so much funding ::)

Over here, we are just saying Berlushka, bye bye (http://lasoracesira.blogspot.com/2011/11/berlushka-bye-bye.html) - it's party time :green2

No doubt about it JJ American politics is based on money. Obama is the greatest fundraiser of the bunch that's a fact. Interesting point is 46% of his campaign funds come from small individual donations. He does appear to be a well liked fellow. Is he liked enough to win the next election? I hope so, if you know anything about what the republicans are offering as presidential candidates I'd say the alternative is unthinkable.

JJ,

Congratulations, I know of few who liked him. You could have done better with Mussolini, at least he was supposed to make the trains run on time.  :P

i have sometimes wondered if gw bush and his buddies didn't have a hand in 9-11 to promote their very lucrative war
it is odd that it happened well before his first year as president was over
a handfull of already wealthy texans became even more wealthy as a result

EDIT:
what really makes it look suspicious...
gw bush had what, 7 1/2 years to capture or kill osama and really didn't try
obama gets him in his first term
this might lead one to think that there was some sort of behind-closed-doors agreement with osama
the rich guys fund the attack - then reap the profits - and don't get the bad guy, in spite of the fact that we had the capability

Concerning Osama,I have always felt they didn't get him right away because you can't really go to war with out a boggie man lurking out there to frighten the masses.
