As with any windows OS I ever had, I would have to reformat and reinstall just to keep it running smoothly. So far I have been using Win7 for over a year (the longest without a reinstall) but, sad to say I have to do the reinstall..

Hi Gunner,

Why not to use a disc imaging program? You don't to reinstall everything if you a have a backup of your system partition. Also, you should consider using portable applications having much more less or no impact on the registry.

Disk image? I will look into that next time.. In the middle of setup now
