That's a fairly big 'mudder'.
This has been a problem of late, is that they attracting the sharks closer inshore with 'chumming' (throwing remains of fish/meat into the sea). The result is that there has suddenly been a marked increase of attacks on swimmers and surfers.

Great White Sharks are a protected species in OZ, we don't want them badly nourished eating crap like that. Can you imagine just how bad the nutritional value would be if they started eating overweight German geriatrics ?
Funny enough I have just watched a documentary on a sequence of shark attacks in New Jersey in 1916 which were most probably Great Whites and this apparently was the original of the JAWS movie.
Still, if you are ecologically minded and willing to make the ultimate sacrifice, the place to do this is in South Australia in some of the bays and inlets where you are just about garranteed to be eaten if you go swimming there.
